What file formats are supported?
Shapefile (.zip containing .shp, .dbf, .prj) and GeoJSON formats are supported. Before zipping your Shapefile, place the .shp, .dbf, and .prj files in the same folder. KML support is planned for a future update.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens entirely in your browser (client-side). Your geospatial data is never sent to any server. You can safely view sensitive or proprietary map data.
My Shapefile is not opening. What should I do?
Make sure your ZIP contains at least .shp and .dbf files. Add a .prj file for coordinate system definition. For very large files (50MB+), you may hit browser limitations. For large datasets, contact us for enterprise solutions.
